Thousands of scholarship dollars will be awarded to many graduating seniors this year because of generous contributions made to the Spencer Community School Foundation through bequests, memorials and cash gifts in honor or memory of a loved one.
The Foundation anticipates awarding more that $40,000 to Spencer High School Seniors in 2013.
Descriptions of the Spencer Community School Foundation student scholarships and the application are available to download. Please review the information and consider applying for one or more scholarships by downloading the application. The deadline to submit or drop off your completed application is February 4, 2013 at the Foundation office located in the Central Administration Building at 23 East 7th Street, PO Box 200, Spencer, IA 51301.

Only award recipients will be contacted with an invitation to the Scholarship Award Ceremony.
The Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization funded by donations, bequests and annual giving programs. (No operating funds are received from the State of Iowa or the School Budget) The Foundation’s goal is to enhance and enrich educational opportunities for students and teachers, partner with businesses to meet needs and expand horizons that will impact the entire community. Annually, contributions and partnerships from and between school employees, businesses, community, alumni and friends impact our school and our community. Scholarships are a direct result of the heart-felt gifts presented to the Foundation.
